Cycling Monster’s Big Birthday.
Just to let you all know today is my birthday, I share celebrations with the French as it’s their Bastille Day holiday today.
Happy Hols Val, Alain and Alexis! No olives toaday eh? Something to do with eating cake, mmm! and heads off!
I had a fantastic night with Paul and Heather last night. Wonderful birthday meal, including pudding, and a good nights sleep in a four poster bed, with sooo many pillows! Thank you, thank you!
Time for a half mile swim this morning, BIG breakfast with Paul and Hetty, then back on my trusty cycle - bum on seat and off I go.
Hopefully to see, Southwold Jack! More later, if I make it!
Also, I would like to thank everyone for their extremely generous donations to my two charities! People never cease to amaze me. Apparently press releases sent to Sheffield Star and Rotherham Advertiser, so check them out!

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Dave has been slogging away around the South Coast of England…
He’s informed us that he might be home this coming weekend and in the office on Monday after he’s given blood – this man doesn’t stop giving!
On Tuesday, Dave passed The Hugin, a replica Viking ship at the cliff top of Pegwell Bay, Ramsgate. The Hugin sailed from Denmark to Thanet in 1949 to celebrate the 1500th anniversary of the invasion of Britain.
On Wednesday, Dave was on his way towards Essex and was hoping to get to NE Ipswich later that day.
So far, he’s been eating 3 meals and on average 4-5 snicker bars a day!!!!
Tuesday night he didn’t get any tea, so had to make do with some biscuits
But made up for it in the morning with a huge cooked breakfast! yum!
On Thursday, Dave met up with his brother Paul.
